OUR MISSION
 
The Baltimore Philharmonia Orchestra, Inc. (BPO) is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, community-based all volunteer orchestra of accomplished musicians. The BPO presents the masterworks of the symphonic repertoire and popular music, to encourage the love of music. The BPO provides a series of regular concerts to the community at no cost.
 
The goals of our orchestra are: 

• To promote the love and enjoyment of classical music by making it more accessible to the Baltimore area communities through regular concerts at no cost.
• Support music students through  the awarding of instruments  and scholarships so that they may continue their studies in music.
  
• Perform season public concerts annually, including outreach concerts in the Baltimore area
• Provide musicians with an opportunity to perform.

     The performing arts have been an integral part of society throughout the ages.  We hope to encourage the Baltimore community to take advantage of this exciting opportunity.
