Bob Ungaretti


Bob Ungaretti is the Principal Oboe of the Baltimore Philharmonia Orchestra.  Bob also plays with the Greenspring Valley Orchestra as Oboe and English Horn.  Bob has also attended many of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) Academy Events and has performed with the BSO on many of their invited amateur events.   Bob has also studied under Jane Marvine, Solo English Horn – BSO.

 

Bob is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Master’s in Computer Science from Loyola University in Maryland.  Bob currently resides in Fallston, Maryland.  With the BPO he has found great fulfillment in collaborating with marvelous musicians to share exceptional music. His top favorite pieces include Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet, Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade. Outside of his orchestral commitments, Bob enjoys playing tennis, working on cars, and building model trains.
