Moving to the United States in 1996, he finished his

Master’s at the University of Northern Iowa.

Currently, Mr. Nikolov is the Music Director/Conductor of the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra and the Music Director/Conductor of the Baltimore Philharmonia Orchestra. Mr. Nikolov has appeared as guest conductor with orchestras in the United States, Austria, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, and Spain.

Dimitar Nikolov has a DMA degree in Orchestral Conducting from the Catholic University of America where he studied with Maestro Murry Sidlin.
