Siqi Yuan

Siqi Yuan is an active conductor specializing in both classical repertoire and contemporary music. She has collaborated closely with numerous composers, leading world premieres and recording projects, and has conducted concerts across the United States, China, and Europe.

As a dedicated advocate for new music, Ms. Yuan has worked extensively with emerging and established composers, bringing new works to life through thoughtful interpretation and collaborative rehearsal processes. She regularly participates in international masterclasses and has received guidance from distinguished conducting maestro including Ulrich Windfuhr, Jason Fettig, and Craig Kirchhoff.

She received her early conducting training from Professor Julian Shew. She is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Wind Conducting at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, where she studies with Dr. Harlan D. Parker.
